Submitting a Name Correction request acknowledges that you have read and understood the below rules.
- How to action a name correction in your GDS;
- QF operated Flights (NZ7000 series) name corrections.
- Ensure you have divided the passenger that requires the name correction
- The name must not exceed a maximum of 29 characters, including spaces.
(Middle names and titles are not required on Air New Zealand tickets) - If the name is completely different and not a variation of what is currently in the booking, an authority is required and a name change fee applies.
All of these cases are at the discretion of Air New Zealand and will not necessarily be approved and may result in a new fare needing to be purchased. - Passport (or valid Photo ID for Domestic Travel) is required for major name corrections.
