Agent Name Correction Requests


Submitting a Name Correction request acknowledges that you have read and understood the below rules.

How to action a name correction in yourGDS: QF operated Flights (NZ7000 series) name corrections:
  • Ensure you have divided the passenger that requires the name correction.
  • The name must not exceed a maximum of 28 characters, including spaces. (Middle names and titles are not required on Air New Zealand tickets.)
  • If the name is completely different and not a variation of what is currently in the booking, an authority is required, and a name change fee applies.
    All such cases are at Air New Zealand's discretion and may result in a new fare needing to be purchased.
    This does not apply to Maiden - Married vv.
  • Passport (or valid Photo ID for Domestic Travel) is required for major name corrections.
